Ralph and Jim, along with their guest, therapist Amy Perschbacher, look at the mental health challenges people face as the pandemic drags on and on. Substance abuse, domestic violence and aggression are surging. Social isolation is leading to increased depression and suicide.
No one, regardless of age, education or social standing is immune – however, some are more vulnerable than others.
The three, Ralph, Jim and Amy, do not take the current situation lightly, but they are able to spot some bright spots midst the chaos. They end the podcast on an optimistic note, predicting that the upcoming year will be better than the one we are quickly exiting.
