Human trafficking, or trafficking in persons, is modern-day slavery It is a crime that involves the unwilling exploitation of people for labor or sex.
Ralph and Jim have created a continuing education course which addresses the four guidelines for professional listening health and mental health care providers, namely:
Understanding the types and venues of human trafficking in the United States.- Identifying victims of human trafficking in health care settings.
- Identifying the warning signs of human trafficking in health care settings for adults and minors.
- Resources for reporting the suspected victims of human trafficking.
